Merry Christmas

Well it's Christmas Day today! Mom and dad are here and Tim's stiring something on the stove. The kids are playing with Collin's gift from Santa - play dough and tools. My Italian cookies I made for last night's dinner were a hit. We went to mom and dad's for dinner with dad's side of the family.
Hopefully my upcoming entries will be uplifting and joyful. At the very least I hope them to be amusing. I hope to write NO MORE memorials for a while... Our family life will get back on track with schoolwork, cooking, cleaning, and plenty of laundry! There's always laundry to help make life seem "normal" again eh?

"Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" with John Candy and Steve Martin is on right now. We are all enjoying a reason to LAUGH!! It's nice to see mom (especially mom) laughing!! She needs it!

I just read your tribute to Pat, you caught it right. Then I read the Christmas one, did you know that Planes, Trains and Automobiles was one of Uncle Pat's favorie movies. We watched it together many times over of the years. You are special and I love you, kiddo.
